This is an outstanding example of silver decoration. It is a good gauge fiddle pattern teaspoon chased and engraved in an exquisite manner to the whole shaft with high Victorian style forms. It was made in Edinburgh by either J Hay or J Howden (The mark has not been attributed) and it bears a full set of Edinburgh hallmarks for 1891.
This is possibly one of the best fiddle teaspoon that anyone is likely to come across.
